Dear Parents and Students,

The region cuts are posted. These cuts apply to Region Auditions ONLY. If you plan to do Area/State, you must continue to practice the entire etude. Cuts may and will be taken at different places for those auditions. Printable version HERE.

ms. 40 and 48 should have the same bowing. (original bowing is like m. 48)
ms. 40 and 48 should have the same diminuendo. (Original is like m. 40, starting on 2nd 8th note.)
m. 51 - last 3 8th notes should have slur. (as in m. 43)
m. 74 - 1st beat, top note, C sharp NOT C natural
m. 77 - 5th note is a G. (some printings have a splotch there.)
